Business Analyst

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, aviation management, information systems, or a related field.

• Certifications in the proposed ERP solution, such as SAP, Oracle, etc.

• Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect.

• Certifications in related technologies such as SQL, data analysis, business analysis, specific programming languages & security.


Experience:

o At least 10 years of experience in analyzing business processes & requirements, implementing, and deploying the proposed ERP solution/technology, cloud computing.

o Experience in using various tools and methodologies for business analysis, such as SWOT analysis, use cases, user stories, data modeling, process mapping, etc.

o Experience in working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and customers.

o Experience in using the chosen cloud platforms and services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure (Microsoft), GCP (Google Cloud Platform), etc.

o Knowledge of the industry and its business processes, regulations, standards, best practices, specific needs, and challenges.

o Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Gathering, analyzing and reporting the business needs and goals of the organization and its stakeholders and translating them into functional and non-functional specifications for the cloud-based ERP system.

- Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

- Define and prioritize the functional specifications for the ERP system based on the business needs and goals.

- Communicate the business requirements and processes to the ERP consultants and developers; collaborate with them to ensure that the ERP system design meets the business needs and adheres to the standards and best practices..

Managing changes and risks during the project lifecycle and ensuring compliance with the standards and best practices of business analysis, cloud computing, ERP systems.

- Review and approve the ERP system configuration and customization ensuring that they comply with the business requirements & processes, airline industry regulations and policies regarding data privacy, security, and governance.

- Plan and execute the ERP system testing; prepare test cases, scenarios, scripts, and data; conduct functional, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing; report and track defects; verify and validate the test results.

- Support the ERP system deployment; assist with data migration, cutover planning, go-live preparation, post-implementation support, etc.

- Monitoring and reporting on the progress, issues and risks of the ERP project.

- Providing training, support, and documentation to the business users on how to use the ERP system effectively, efficiently; address their queries and feedback ensuring their satisfaction and adoption.

- Contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of the business processes and operations of the airline using the cloud-based ERP system.

- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the project.
